Weddings…and other things

Just over a week ago, during Easter, I went to my brothers’s wedding.

The only problem was that I had to wear a suit. Now I didn’t own a suit and had no intention of wearing one for a very long time. A very very long time.

But circumstances demanded otherwise and I bought a suit. Actually wore one. Imagine that.

It was a good wedding, and Maiguru and Mukoma were looking more beautiful than ever. It even made me reconsider my views on love and marriage.

I had a good time, and I wish them the best, I was proud of them and happy to be there.

The only bad thing was the suit, it was atrocious. But I even reconsidered my opinion of suits. They are not that bad. A man can wear one from time to time, a man can even own one.

Weddings are beautiful things, for a while I forgot my cynicism and my faith in humanity was restored.
